Deploy and activate Tutela

Launch the supported CloudFormation deployment, confirm the selected activation path, and verify application and API health.

Prerequisites

AWS account with access to the approved Tutela release and installation package
Confirmed direct evaluation, direct contract, or AWS Marketplace activation path
DNS and TLS plan
AWS IAM permissions for CloudFormation, EC2, ECR, Secrets Manager, KMS, Route 53, ACM, logs, and SSM

Confirm the authorized installation path before launch. For a direct deployment, use the release and account-specific CloudFormation inputs supplied by Tutela. Use AWS Marketplace only after the organization has accepted the corresponding offer or contract.
For a direct evaluation, confirm the evaluation end date, included full-platform capabilities, support contact, and conversion or extension path before inviting operators.
Confirm AWS account, region, stack names, hosted zone, application domain, ACM certificate plan, runtime secrets, and sizing inputs before create.
Confirm bootstrap admin email and temporary password are recorded in the operator handoff.
Confirm that the Subscription Status panel identifies the intended activation source. A direct evaluation must not request Marketplace entitlement; a Marketplace installation must remain gated until AWS confirms entitlement.
Use the canonical release tag supplied by the automated release pipeline.
Verify the app loads, the public API is healthy, and background services are ready before manual testing.
